  • I'd like to speak to someone about these services before I proceed, is this possible?

  • What makes these services different from other online legal services?

    Most online legal services provide you with an 'off-the-shelf' legal document that will be relatively inflexible to your particular circumstances. These services will provide you with legal documents tailored to your specific circumstances.

    Our service is driven by our groundbreaking technology, Rapidocs®, which guides you through the whole process of giving us the information we need to create your document. No technical hurdles, no legal jargon - just straightforward questions with beautifully presented, clear explanations.

  • Can I reuse my documents?

    You can use any of the available documents as many times as you'd like, however if you have sent a document to our legal team for review and it has been returned to you 'approved', you will not be able to edit it or return it to the legal team again. In this case you will need to start a fresh document.

  • How do I contact you?

  • How do I find a document creation service?

    There are several ways to search for our services on the website:

    • Select a legal category on the 'Home' page
    • Use the search box in the Menu
    • Look through the list of All Legal Documents and pick the one you require
  • I cannot find the document I need to create

    Our legal content team are continually developing new and improved services. If you cannot find a document that suits your needs, please contact our customer service team who will advise if there is an alternative that is suitable for you, or if there are plans to release an appropriate service in the near future.

  • How are documents created?

    Most other online legal services provide you with 'off-the-shelf' or 'flat form' legal documents that will be relatively inflexible to your particular circumstances. Our documents ask you a series of easy-to-answer questions, each with helpful explanations and often, examples. Based on your responses, our system drafts and tailors the required clauses to create a document suitable for your circumstances.

    Furthermore, each document has a set of comprehensive, yet easy to understand guidance notes providing an overview of the document, things you need to consider like the jurisdiction of the document and signing and witnessing the document, together with explanations of any terms you may not understand.

    All our documents and letters are created by experienced legal professionals and are constantly reviewed and updated in accordance with changes in the law, giving you the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your document is of the highest quality and legally sound.

  • Can I create documents in Microsoft Word and forward them to the legal team for review?

    Unfortunately the legal team are unable to receive documents for review that have not been completed and returned for checking in Rapidocs® format. Exchanging information in this format is key to be able to offer you affordable, high quality legal services online.

    In order to send a document you are creating using Rapidocs® to the legal team, select 'Send for legal review' from the website.

Using the service

  • Which web browser do I need?

    The website is designed to work in all current versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

  • Why doesn't the document open in my browser?

  • How do I retrieve information on a document service I have started?

    Click on the 'My Services' button above. From this page you can track the progress or view the status of any document service you have started.

  • How do I send my document for review?

    Once you have answered the questions in your document, you may wish to send it to be reviewed by our expert legal team. To do this, go to the 'My Services' page, and click the 'Send for legal review' button next to your document. Whilst the document is being reviewed, you will not be able to edit it until it has been returned, though you can still view it using 'Print preview'.

  • What happens when my document is reviewed and complete?

    The email will have a link to the website to collect the document from the 'My Services' section of the site.

  • How do I print my document?

    Click on the 'My Services' button above and open the folder containing the document. Displayed on the right hand side should be all the documents contained within the folder you have opened. Once you find the appropriate document from the list, select 'Print preview'. This will open the document as a PDF file from which you can directly print a copy.

  • How do I open my document in Microsoft Word?

    Click on the 'My Services' button above and open the folder containing the document. Displayed on the right hand side should be all the documents contained within the folder you have opened. Once you find the appropriate document from the list, select 'Export'. This will allow you to save the document to your local disk as either DOC (Word), or PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format.

  • What is Rapidocs®?

    Rapidocs® is our intelligent document automation technology which works by asking you a series of easy-to-answer questions. Based on your answers to these questions your document is tailored to your circumstances.

    Each question is accompanied by explanatory notes designed to provide you with the information needed to answer the question correctly. Further guidance and legal information is available in the accompanying, comprehensive user notes.

  • I don't understand what a question means or is referring to

    Next to each question a small pop-up window will appear containing an explanation of the question and often providing an example. You can hide this explanation by clicking once on the '?' icon or the 'X' in the right hand corner.

  • I have a red asterisk next to a questions group after completing my document

    If you have a red asterisk next to a questions group, this shows that you have missed a question.

    It could be possible that this was intentional. However, you should double-click on the question group to view the incomplete question and make sure that this omission was intentional.
